Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating strategies for clients as it pertains to their employee benefits program including Benefits, Compliance, HR Policies, Employee Communication and Engagement, and Payroll and Benefits Administration
  • Co-manage the entire client service experience and creating relationships with different members of our clients' teams
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day client and vendor related service items
  • Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to customers, producers, and company personnel
  • Assists (when needed) with Marketing new business for both new and existing accounts and summarize the analysis of proposals to help define any plan changes
  • Coordinates renewals or changes with carriers for current accounts
  • Reviews Policies for accuracy and completeness
  • Improves insurance skills and knowledge by seeking out educational opportunities


Education/Experience

  • Needs to have extensive knowledge and understanding of health insurance strategies including: Alternative funding methods (including level funding and self-funding), stop-loss marketing, Rx Programs and Rx Carve-Outs, Reference Based Pricing, Direct Contracts, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing, risk management, or human resources management strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated individual who is willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Minimum 10-12 years industry experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and process-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize client needs
  • EPIC agency management system experience strongly preferred
