SR CLAIMS SPECIALIST

Hybrid 2 days remote: Upon fully trained

Duties

As a Sr Claims Specialist, you'll take an active role in managing complex commercial casualty claims and supporting strong client relationships. In this Sr Claims Specialist position, you will:

• Ensure appropriate claim reporting instructions are issued to insureds and TPAs on assigned accounts and updated as needed, while monitoring compliance.
• Complete annual claim audits and perform collateral claim reviews, following up with insureds and/or TPAs on issues requiring corrective action or attention.
• Actively manage TPAs in the handling of excess claims and ensure appropriate reinsurance reporting and adherence to ORRM internal reporting guidelines.
• Identify and address insurance coverage issues arising from claims.
• Communicate with internal clients, including Account Executives and Account Managers, regarding claim-related issues and trends as part of the renewal process.
• Assist with the solicitation of new clients and support business development efforts.
• Assist in training and supporting new and existing Claim Specialists.

The Sr Claims Specialist serves as an important resource for internal teams and external partners, bringing sound judgment, technical knowledge, and a collaborative approach to every challenge.
Experience

The ideal Sr Claims Specialist candidate brings a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with at least five years of related experience in commercial casualty claim adjusting. Experience managing complex claims, working with TPAs, reviewing claims, and navigating coverage issues will help you succeed as a Sr Claims Specialist at ORRM. We're looking for a Sr Claims Specialist who combines technical claims expertise with strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
