Job Description

Working from a home office you will drive sales through authorized Honeywell WEBs contractors and distributors for BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the NWT. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminars, and similar events. You will build demand for the Honeywell WEBs control product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops delivered to contractors, engineering consultants and owners. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).

  • Located in either Vancouver area (Burnaby), Calgary or Edmonton working remotely. 40% - 50% of the time you are on the road if not working from home remotely.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • 7+ years of sales experience in a technical sales role in HVAC Building Automation
  • Valid driver's license

  • Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce application
  • Prior experience selling to Mechanical Contractors and Consulting Engineers
  • Prior experience selling to owners and end users
  • Excellent team interaction and communication and presentation skills
  • Drive for increased knowledge and a willingness to learn
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
  • Significant experience in selling commercial controls products and HVAC applications
  • Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 total target cash (TTC) . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
