Job Description
• Calibration project management including dataset management & release.
• Vehicle function calibration know-how: start system, emission controls, speed governors, Drivability, smoke limitation, cruise control, PTO, Vehicle speed limiter, Environmental adaptations.
• Overall coordination for dataset preparation, assessment, quality checks & release to customer.
• Leading & coordinating cross functional teams for software & calibration work packages.
• Calibration Project requirements analysis, calibration project cost & effort estimation. Supporting sales team on contract preparation & negotiation. Project acquisition support to sales team on technical aspects. Calibration timeline preparation & tracking.
• Manage calibration development topics to meet customer & legislative requirements. Ensuring calibration project is on-time, on-spec & on-budget.
• Direct interface/first contact to customer on calibration topics & work packages. Promoting Bosch calibration services at OEMs.
• Customer meeting coordination for calibration/technical topics. Management update & presentations.
• Coordination for engine testing activities related to customer programs within Bosch.
• Project cost planning & budget control in MCR.
• Series & Field topics support related to calibration.
• Trainer on calibration topics to customer & internal stake holders.
• Mentoring colleagues and interns on vehicle calibration & Calibration Project management topics.
• Supporting strategy development related for calibration & system definition to meet future emission & legislative requirements.
• Calibration quality & efficiency improvement coordination.

Qualifications

Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 4-year Bachelor Degree

5 years or more experience in calibration of Gasoline/Hybrid powertrains
