About the Role

ConsumerDirect is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Business Operations Specialist to join the Operations department, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This role supports cross-functional operational initiatives, owns key process and project management functions, and serves as a critical liaison between Operations, Finance, Sales, Billing, Compliance, and IT teams. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable mapping a messy cross-departmental process and writing the SOP for it, triaging a daily operational ticket, and running a cross-functional initiative end to end.

Responsibilities

Daily Operations Management
  • Own and manage the day-to-day operational ticket and task queue, including (but not limited to):
  • White-label environment setup and spin-downs.
  • Reviewing, approving, and managing partner and employee access requests.
  • Reviewing and triaging bug requests and routing them appropriately.
  • Monitoring system health and proactively coordinating with the relevant departments when issues arise.
  • General troubleshooting and first-line resolution of operational issues.
  • Ensure operational tasks are completed accurately, on time, and with appropriate documentation and audit trails.

SOP Development & Process Documentation
  • Map and document cross-departmental business processes across different departments.
  • Draft, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), turning tribal knowledge into clear, repeatable workflows.
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and single points of failure, and propose practical improvements.

Project & Business Analysis
  • Act as project manager and analyst for cross-functional business initiatives - defining scope, timelines, owners, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across departments, track progress, surface risks, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and report results to leadership.

Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers, including onboarding, performance tracking, and renewals.
  • Support contract reviews, cost analysis, and vendor selection in coordination with the COO and relevant departments.

Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience in operations, project management, business operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to document business processes and write clear, usable SOPs.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira for ticket management and project tracking.
  • Technical fluency, able to manage access requests, triage bugs, monitor system health, and troubleshoot, and to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Self-starter who thrives with ambiguity and minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and executives.
