SR. BUSINESS ANALYST - WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT & HCM

IMPACT ON BUSINESS:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Business Analyst - Workforce Management & HCM is configuration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Bealls Workforce Management and Oracle Fusion Absence Management platforms. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and efficient workforce-related processes across the enterprise by managing system configuration, integrations, data flows, release cycles, and enhancements. The Senior Business Analyst - Workforce Management & HCM directly influences payroll accuracy, labor optimization, employee experience, and operational efficiency in stores and corporate environments.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Essential Functions]:

System Administration & Configuration
  • Manage ongoing configuration changes, rule updates, labor model adjustments, and compliance-related improvements to optimize Legion WFM functionality for modules including but not limited to Forecasting, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Labor Standards, and Employee Self-Service.
  • Support Oracle Fusion HCM, specializing in Payroll and Absence Management.
  • Maintain system parameters, calendars, pay rules, integrations, and security.
Integrations & Data Management
  • Maintain and support inbound and outbound integrations between Legion WFM and Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • Monitor daily data files for issues related to employee records, job changes, schedules, punches, and payroll hours.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and ensure data accuracy across all systems.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and other Technology resources to ensure data integrity.
Operational Support, Analytics, Optimization & Process Improvement
  • Timely resolving issues reported by business users in our case management tool and adhering to department KPI.
  • Analyze labor data, forecasting accuracy, scheduling effectiveness, and compliance metrics.
  • Support weekly payroll close and assist with role provisioning into WFM.
Testing, Release Management & Documentation
  • Lead testing cycles for Legion updates and Oracle Fusion quarterly patches.
  • Develop test scripts and coordinate UAT.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead or participate in system implementation projects and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, HR, Store Operations, Payroll, Finance, and L&D.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
  • Ability to lead through strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead issue resolution, identify root causes, and support effective outcomes.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong interest in exploring AI and identifying opportunities to lead process improvements and collaborate on greater efficiency.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Workforce Management systems, including leading efforts around cloud integrations and troubleshooting system and data issues.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting HCM systems; experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll or Absence is a plus.
  • Knowledge of retail labor, payroll concepts, and scheduling compliance, with the ability to collaborate across teams and preferably within a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Experience helping lead the configuration or implementation of Workforce Management systems, particularly Legion, is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and familiarity with SQL or other analytical tools is preferred to support analysis, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
