We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to join our team. The ideal candidate brings 5 or more years of experience and deep knowledge of insurance operations, workflows, and systems. This role owns the business analysis workstream across cross-functional initiatives, serving as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. The Senior BA translates business needs into clear requirements, drives solution design, and ensures deliverables align with organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with producers, brokers, underwriters, and other business stakeholders to understand current-state processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business context into technical decision-making.
• Lead requirements discovery and solution design for the company's custom-developed CRM and related internal systems, spanning production pipelines, quoting, submissions, renewals, and commission processing.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and data mapping specifications, for development teams.
• Perform impact analysis to assess how proposed changes affect downstream systems, integrations, operations, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product owners, the Solution Architect, QA, and development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are technically feasible, testable, and accurately implemented.
• Own cross-functional initiatives from intake through delivery, proactively recommending process improvements, system enhancements, and development priorities aligned with business strategy.
• Support requirements for carrier data exchange, ACORD messaging, surplus lines tax filings, and delegated authority workflows as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts or business users involved in requirements gathering and user acceptance testing.

Required Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of leading requirements efforts on complex projects.
• Deep background in commercial P&C insurance with direct experience supporting producer and broker operations across the submission, placement, renewal, and commission lifecycle. Familiarity with wholesale, surplus lines, or delegated authority workflows is a plus.
• Experience serving as a product owner or lead analyst for a CRM or business application, including backlog management and iterative delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Core Competencies-
• Stakeholder Management: Builds trusted relationships with producers, brokers, and internal teams; influences decision-making through credibility and domain expertise.
• Insurance Acumen: Applies deep knowledge of commercial P&C operations, including multi-carrier environments, delegated authority programs, and wholesale and surplus lines distribution, to drive meaningful solutions.
• Collaboration & Adaptability: Works effectively across cross-functional teams, adapts to shifting priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Integration Thinking: Understands how systems interact and reasons through data flows, dependencies, and downstream impact of requirements decisions.
