Senior Project Manager (Structural-Bridge Engineering)RS&H is seeking an experienced
SeniorProject Manager to join our
bridge/structural team in Utah! In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery while meeting client expectations, project milestones, schedule commitments, and budget objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing leadership to project teams and fostering strong relationships that support long-term business growth.
What You'll Do- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget constraints, schedule commitments, and quality standards
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by understanding project goals, expectations, and success criteria
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Communicate project objectives, priorities, and progress to clients, stakeholders, and project team members
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery to achieve successful outcomes
- Partner with project leadership to negotiate scope, fees, and contract modifications when necessary
- Identify risks and challenges, recommend solutions, and proactively address issues that may impact project success
- Select and manage subconsultants as needed to support project execution
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and coordination to project teams
- Deliver an exceptional client experience that supports repeat business, strengthens existing relationships, and creates opportunities for new work
What You'll Need to Be Successful- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah
- Experience working with UDOT preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and successfully lead concurrent projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, including the capability to influence, mentor, and guide project teams toward successful outcomes
