• The alc/bev industry is an exciting, dynamic, and fast-paced business. Suntory Global Spirits is a top player in the spirits business and focused on becoming a top player within the Ready to Drink category, capturing new consumers and occasions not currently being serviced by our full bottle strength spirit brands in our key markets. Key to this ambition is winning in Flavored Malt Beverages (FMBs)
• This role will be an integral part of the team defining what success looks like in the FMB market, as well as building the playbook on how to achieve it
• Opportunity to make a mark in a new, highly important business area for Suntory Global Spirits in the US
• This position is a critical leadership role, strategically building our brands at the local level in a dynamic business unit, Wisconsin.
• This position will be a natural progression and training ground for future positions in US Brands, NA Commercial Marketing, or Sales.
• This position reports to Director, FMB Marketing, and works closely with General and State Managers, field marketing, as well as central brand leadership

Role Responsibilities
• The Sr. FMB Brand Manager will work closely with Sales and other cross functional partners to deliver the highest quality programs and execution to drive planned Volume, NSV, DGP, and distribution growth for Wisconsin. This includes overseeing and driving strategic local programs, local sponsorships, partnerships, and key strategic relationships.
• The Sr. FMB Brand Manager will be an expert in their local market/ state, leading local commercialization and brand activities, and ensuring that brand programming is relevant, timely, and engaging to our core audience at the local level.
• The role is a critical partner sitting between the central Brand Team, Local Sales, Finance, and our SGS Distributor Partners. The function is responsible for ensuring that sales and distributor teams are educated and inspired about brand strategy, innovation, consumer targets and execute programming with excellence.
• As part of annual brand planning, assist in key elements of planning, including working with local stakeholders to build locally relevant and actionable marketing plans.
• The Sr. FMB Brand Manager sets framework for State/local Planning and build plans that are on brand, locally relevant and drive volume. The role works collaboratively with local FMB field teams to ensure BI is appropriately planned against the right touchpoints, spent efficiently and forecasts are met.
• Lead the identification of local partnerships to identify relevant local partners to grow our portfolio of FMB brands.
• Lead the creation and execution of local programming to drive relevance with consumers at local accounts and events.
• The role will also assist with analyzing key business metrics (depletions, distribution, velocity, Nielsen/ consumption, pricing, profit, etc.). Prepare analysis and make recommendations for action.
• Partner with other business units to share best practices and collaborate on programming. This includes informing the central team about interesting developments in the FMB and wider bev/ alc world, especially in your market.
• Own the local P&L of the brand, taking ownership of spend, KPI deliverables, and ROI at the local/ market level.
• Drive diversity and inclusion within team and with the Consumer cohorts we are targeting.
• Key customers of this role include: Sr. Director of Commercialization and their sales org, General Manager and, local FMB team, as well as the rest of the local SGS organization (State managers, Field marketing managers/ associate managers, Key Account managers, etc.)

Qualifications
• Commercial Leadership & Acumen Experience: 7+ years of experience, preferably Commercial Marketing, Field Marketing, Trade Development or Brand Marketing
• Alcohol beverage industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to turn brand plans into locally relevant, compelling programs
• Demonstrated strong local knowledge of, and network among trade, and other local groups (local sports, local events, local clubs, etc.)
• Strong influence, communication, presentation, and organizational skills a must as well as experience with effective cross-functional teams
• Financial Acumen: Field BI Budget Management
• Must be proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, and SAP
• Up to 50% travel
