Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Senior Associate, Investments will play a key role on Elevate's investments team, reporting to the VP of Investments. This individual will own the development and maintenance of complex financial models, support project and corporate financing efforts, prepare materials for banks and investors, and manage due diligence processes. The role demands a high degree of financial and technical rigor, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career professional with 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or similar - ideally with exposure to power, renewables, or infrastructure.

This role can be located in any of the following Elevate Hubs: Brooklyn, NY; Washington, DC; Raleigh-Durham, NC

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Build, maintain, and enhance detailed project and corporate financial models to support investment decisions and financing execution.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate investment opportunities and project economics.
  • Drive valuation, M&A, and strategic partnership analyses.
Transaction Support & External Engagement
  • Prepare high-quality materials for lenders, investors, and counterparties - including presentations, investment memos, and financing packages.
  • Own and organize due diligence processes, including data room management and investor request tracking.
  • Support ongoing relationships with financial institutions, rating agencies, and advisors.
Internal Financial Support
  • Partner with development, engineering, and operations teams to evaluate project performance and financial implications.
  • Deliver timely, accurate analysis to support senior management in strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Special Projects
  • Lead ad hoc analyses in support of project development, acquisitions, or corporate strategy.
  • Drive process improvements across modeling, reporting, and financial infrastructure.


Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or CFA a plus.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate finance.
  • Exposure to power, renewables, or infrastructure sectors required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data rooms and transaction processes a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear takeaways.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior executives and external stakeholders.

The compensation range listed in this posting represents the Company's good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will reflect the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. Employees are also eligible to participate in the Company's annual discretionary bonus program, subject to applicable plan terms.

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 140,000 USD per year (BK)
