Full Job Description
Join ProMach Integrated Solutions (PMIS) as a Senior Applications Engineer and help design the production lines that power the world's top brands. In this role, you will work with sales directors, clients, and vendors to create complete turnkey solutions from processing to end-of-line using AutoCAD and your expertise in cost estimating. You will connect technical and commercial goals, evaluate risk, and deliver the best solutions for each client while representing both ProMach and OEM brands. This position reports to the Manager of Applications Engineering. You will drive the growth and profitability of our product lines, partner with clients and vendors to ensure competitive and effective proposals, and strengthen our position in the marketplace through innovation and continuous improvement.

What you'll do...

Design & Engineering

  • Assess client RFQs, drawings, and specs to confirm requirements and identify technical risks
  • Use AutoCAD to design complete production lines and conveyor systems, optimizing spacing, accumulation, and operator flow
  • Incorporate OEM equipment into layouts to deliver best-fit solutions


Client Collaboration

  • Partner with clients to define scope, gather details, and align technical, operational, and commercial goals
  • Conduct on-site evaluations, take measurements, and lead technical discussions to support accurate designs
  • Present proposals that clearly communicate the value of ProMach's solutions


Vendor & Project Management

  • Secure and evaluate vendor quotes to meet scope, cost, performance, and schedule targets
  • Negotiate pricing and secure favorable terms when needed
  • Build lasting relationships to ensure smooth execution


Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver technical sales training, mentor engineers, and support marketing initiatives
  • Drive profitable growth by meeting revenue targets, controlling costs, and developing reusable solutions for future proposals
  • Resolve quality issues and address vendor problems quickly

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%, with occasional off-hours for Pacific Coast or international clients
