Job Purpose

EX3- Sr. Analyst- New Business

American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is seeking a Sr. Analyst, New Business for our Sales and Marketing, Consumer Services division. The Senior Analyst of Strategic Initiatives supports the end-to-end evaluation of new business opportunities, partnerships, and product concepts for AHFC's Consumer Financial Services (CFS) portfolio. This includes assessing the strategic fit, financial viability, and operational feasibility of new products and initiatives, presenting recommendations to management, and representing AHFC in cross-functional discussions with internal departments and AHM. This contributes to AHFC's goals of maintaining a healthy financial position while supporting sales growth through competitive financial products, which in turn supports our parent company AHM with sales and profitability.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Business Opportunity Assessment - Lead the evaluation of new business opportunities, products, and strategic partnerships for AHFC.
  • Cross-Functional Representation & Collaboration - Represent Sales and Marketing in meetings with internal departments and AHM, providing subject matter expertise on proposed business opportunities
  • Implementation Support - Support the implementation of approved opportunities by defining business requirements
  • Ad Hoc Support - Support ad hoc requests from both internal and external customers


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required in finance, economics, business, mathematics/statistics, or related field
  • Masters or MBA degree is preferred


Minimum Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in lending, financial services, strategic planning, product development, or financial analysis
  • Experience evaluating new business opportunities, developing business cases, and conducting financial viability assessments
  • Experienced in indirect loan/lease consumer lending
  • Experienced in automotive industry / automotive finance business.
  • Educational or work experience equivalent to above requirements
