Job Description

Provide advanced functional analysis, configuration support, and business process expertise for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). Serve as a senior functional resource supporting finance enterprise applications by partnering with accounting, finance, IT, and implementation partners to analyze business requirements, optimize financial processes, support system implementations, and ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and digital transformation efforts that strengthen financial operations and maximize the value of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior functional analyst for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), providing expertise in financial applications, business processes, and system capabilities.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, IT, and implementation partners to analyze business requirements, document functional specifications, and support solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Support governance of Oracle financial applications by maintaining chart of accounts structures, workflows, approval hierarchies, security roles, and other system configurations in accordance with established policies and internal controls.
  • Analyze Oracle quarterly releases, new functionality, AI capabilities, and product enhancements; evaluate potential business impacts and provide recommendations for adoption.
  • Assist with the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle financial processes to improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support organizational objectives.
  • Support Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) processes, including financial close and consolidation, account reconciliations, budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting while helping ensure alignment between ERP and EPM data structures.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc reporting solutions to support operational and executive decision-making.
  • Coordinate and participate in system implementations, quarterly updates, and enhancement activities by developing test scripts, executing conference room pilots (CRPs), performing user acceptance testing (UAT), validating business scenarios, documenting defects, and supporting production readiness activities.
  • Monitor data integrity, reporting accuracy, and financial processing across Oracle modules by researching issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing system documentation, configuration details, process information, and evidence supporting compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, standardize business procedures, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance the overall effectiveness of finance systems.
  • Serve as a functional resource and liaison between finance, accounting, IT, and external vendors by communicating business requirements, project status, system issues, and recommended solutions.
  • No supervisory/management authority.
  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or other related field, and five (5) to seven (7) years of functional or technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Finance, Time & Labor, or other enterprise financial/timekeeping systems preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise financial systems implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements preferred.
  • Experience supporting large, complex organizations preferred.
  • Experience developing functional requirements, process documentation, test plans, and user acceptance testing.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including general ledger, financial reporting, chart of accounts, financial integrations, accounting configuration, and related financial modules.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications, including budgeting, planning, financial close, account reconciliation, or reporting preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and improve business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and collaborate across functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively to cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail while ensuring data accuracy, reporting integrity, and compliance with internal controls.
