About the Role

Are you ready to make an impact with data-driven insights? As an Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we leverage customer-centric data to drive performance and inform strategic decision-making. In this highly visible position, you'll work with complex datasets related to pharmacy, customer behavior, including purchases, exchanges, warranties, and service history, as well as installed base analytics. The ideal analyst is naturally curious, thrives on collaboration, and enjoys diving deep to uncover actionable insights that support sales, revenue, and cross-functional initiatives. Leveraging advanced analytics tools such as Power BI and Databricks, along with advanced datasets like IQVIA, you'll develop compelling reports, visualizations, forecasts, and predictive models that help shape strategy and fuel organizational growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to improve productivity, decision making, and competitive advantage.
  • Build and maintain advanced models, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Power BI and Databricks.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Perform statistical analysis to ensure accurate forecasting, predictive modeling, and classification.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, leadership, IT, and other business partners to support data driven initiatives.
  • Understand and communicate requirements related to data integration and processing with IT and data engineering teams.
  • Analyze and interpret complex customer-centric datasets, purchases, exchanges, warranties, and service history, to support business decisions.
  • Conduct installed base analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for growth and optimization.
  • Manage and verify analytical systems and data accuracy, acting as a liaison to the business.
  • Proactively identify and solve analytical challenges with creativity and rigor.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of analytics experience

OR

Advanced Degree and 2+ years of analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated mastery of advanced analytics, with full knowledge of industry practices.
  • Proven experience working with customer-centric data and performing advanced analytics, including forecasting, predictive modeling, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Databricks, and Excel.
  • Experience working with pharmacy data sources (IQVIA, 867, 852), wholesaler, or dealer data.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or regulated industry data standards.
  • Programming skills in Python or R.
  • Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally and navigating technical discussions (ETL, data integration) with IT and data engineering teams
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork, including acting as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives.
  • Experience managing and driving business insights in a healthcare or regulated industry environment.
  • Broad knowledge of project management principles.
  • Naturally curious, self-motivated, and passionate

MiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$87,000.00 - $149,000.00

For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $97,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
