Job Description

As an Sr Advanced Test Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical skills in test engineering and project management.
In this role, you will lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of test applications across multiple programs. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer requirements are addressed through managing team efforts to achieve program goals.

You will report directly to our Sr Test Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate design and development activities within the test functions to address customer requirements
  • Manage the program plan, including scope, schedule, cost, technical aspects, resources, and risks
  • Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, estimates, and schedules
  • Lead the solution definition process from requirements definition through design, development, validation & verification, and introduction to production
  • Track and report program progress, costs, risks, and milestones
  • Lead internal and external design reviews and technical coordination meetings
  • Ensure compliance with Aerospace Engineering Processes
  • Lead proposal preparations and act as a proposal focal within the Test function

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering-Electronics
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in electronics in an aerospace environment or transportation industry
  • Minimum of 3 years in project management, including baseline management, earned value reporting, and computer-based scheduling and reporting tools

  • Working knowledge of DO-160, MIL-810
  • PMP Certificate (Project Management Professional)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in a global team environment
  • Strong management operating system that facilitates communication
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Agile methodology project execution is a plus


The annual base salary range for this position is $110K - $125K in Mississauga, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
