Responsibilities

  • Research and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions
  • Prepare and maintain technical accounting position papers and memorandums
  • Review contracts for appropriate accounting treatment in line with US GAAP
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes
  • Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Revenue and Sales Operations, and other teams
  • Assist in preparing SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks
  • Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and controls while ensuring SOX compliance

About this role:The Sr. Accountant, Technical Accounting will supporttechnicalaccounting researchanddocumentation,reviewcontracts to determine accounting treatment, andparticipate inSEC reporting and accountingcloseactivities. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to assess accounting implicationsand support compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. The role reports to the Director,Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting. Main Responsibilities: Research, analyze,and documentaccounting conclusions forcomplextransactions. Prepare andmaintaintechnical accounting position papers and memorandums. Reviewcustomer, vendor, and other businesscontractsto determineappropriate accountingtreatmentin accordance withUS GAAP. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closeprocess(journal entries,accountreconciliations,financialreporting, fluxanalysisetc.) Partner withLegal, FP&A,Partner Alliance,Revenue and Sales Operationsand othercross functional teams. Assistwith preparation of SEC filings,including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and Proxy. Identifyopportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedureswhilemaintainingSOXcompliance. JOB REQ COMPENSATION RANGE $83,000 - $138,000 The base salary range for this role is shown above. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan, and/or equity plan, depending on role.
