Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):- Conduct complex account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger, adhering to public company standards and regulations. This includes handling research and development accruals, intercompany account reconciliations, and elimination entries
- Lead the month-end close processes in compliance with public company requirements, accounting for research and development studies, and reviewing various account balances and transactions
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP, SOX, and company policies, and assist in preparing financial audits
- Collaborate with the Business and Finance teams to analyze expense trends and provide valuable insights for decision-making
- Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements, focusing on aligning with public company standards and enhancing accounting controls and processes
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, sharing your valuable public company experience and best practices
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a public company or public accounting role, showcasing a deep understanding of public company financial operations OR
- Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field and/or CPA certification, with at least 2 years of similar experience mentioned above
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and expertise in accounting operations for public companies, especially research and development accruals and intercompany accounting
- Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and preferably NetSuite accounting system, in alignment with public company financial best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining focus on the broader financial landscape
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a proven track record of successful cooperation within public company financial environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of effectively communicating financial information to diverse stakeholders

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $97,000.00-$133,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
