Senior Accountant

Location: Melville, NY (Onsite)
Salary: Up to $115,000
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing Finance team in the Fintech space. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting the close process, strengthening internal controls, and partnering cross-functionally as the organization scales.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead portions of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Maintain the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and consistency across financial records
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for financial statement audits

Qualifications

Preferred:
  • CPA or actively pursuing certification
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth private equity-backed environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
