Job Summary:
THE ROLEWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Artist Management division to support multiple artist management companies with the day-to-day accounting and finance support. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain relationships with other field accountants. Prepare month-end close entries, supporting financial schedules, and reconciliations. In addition, the senior accountant will also be responsible for preparing variance analysis, year-end budgets, and updating monthly forecasts for his/her artist management companies.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO- Record monthly journal entries, including accruals and prepaid amortizations
- Prepare various month-end balance sheet and income statement support schedules
- Prepare monthly rebills and settle intercompany balances
- Prepare calculations for participations/commission settlements
- Prepare annual budgets and maintain forecast updates for respective artist management companies.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Other duties as assigned by management
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate accounting
- 1-2 years of previous ex
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Oracle BPC experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Multi-task oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organization skills

The expected compensation for this position is:
$72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD
