JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Account Manager is a key commercial leader within the DMDS, DMS, and Carelflex® Sales Team, driving growth across a powerhouse portfolio of sulfiding chemicals and catalyst activation services throughout the U.S. and Canada. You'll play a pivotal role in three fast-moving markets-petrochemicals (including steam cracking units), renewable diesel, and oil refining-where our solutions directly support safe, efficient, and reliable operations for major industry players.

This is a highly dynamic sales environment, with multi-step cycles spanning 2 to 12 months. You'll take full ownership of forecasting, defining project scope with customers, crafting compelling commercial offers, leading negotiations, securing purchase orders, and supporting seamless execution of both chemical supply and field service projects.

You'll manage multiple high-value opportunities at once, working in close partnership with a diverse team to ensure best-in-class customer experience and flawless project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Excellence
  • Build and execute smart, forward-looking sales call plans that keep your pipeline strong and predictable.
  • Use Salesforce to stay ahead of short- and long-term forecasting, opportunity analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Lead pricing strategy, craft compelling commercial offers, and negotiate high-value deals with refinery and petrochemical customers.
  • Present solutions that differentiate us-then close the deal and manage the relationship through delivery.
  • Partner internally to ensure every project is delivered flawlessly and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Visit customer sites (40-60% travel) to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Capture customer insights to shape future service offerings and support business growth.


Marketing & Brand Presence
  • Represent our business at industry events and trade shows.
  • Bring branding and messaging ideas that elevate our presence in the marketplace.


Reporting & Leadership
  • Maintain polished, timely reporting through Salesforce and monthly activity summaries.
  • Share market intelligence, insights, and wins with global teams to strengthen our global footprint.
  • Contribute to internal business reviews, strategy discussions, and peer collaboration.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or other technical field.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in sales and commercial negotiations in refinery or petrochemical markets.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM, Excel, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office
