Full Job Description
The Sr. Account Executive works with the General Sales Manager and other account related Managers, such as Business Development and Division Managers, to implement and manage National Supply Agreements in their assigned account package. The Sr. Account Executive is responsible for coordinating rollout and ongoing management of customer accounts serviced by the supplyFORCE Participating Distributor network. This includes direct interface with both customers and distributors to monitor performance and to assist distributors in converting business from competitors. The Sr. Account Executive will have direct account and Member responsibility, as assigned. Overnight travel of 25% can be expected, with peak travel of 40% occurring during periods of new account roll-out.

  • Assist in identifying, implementing, maintaining and renewing successful, highly compliant National Account agreements
  • Functions as a key contact for current National Account customers within assigned account package and geographic area
  • Manage agreements that deliver strong revenue and profits for the Company and our Members
  • Responsible for identifying potential cross-selling opportunities for further verticals and other supplyFORCE services to current national customers
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of customer's MRO procurement processes and needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with Participating Distributors to enhance communication and contract performance
  • Work and engage with the cross-functional teams, such as E-Commerce, IT, Accounting and Procurement Services departments to ensure efficient and successful contract implementations
  • Manage all supplyFORCE and assigned distributor targets to meet or exceed contract goals and requirements
  • Schedule and conduct Quarterly business reviews and customer events to review performance and enhance communication between the customer, supplyFORCE and our distributors
  • Review monthly/quarterly sales volume and cost savings reports internally, with distributors and with customer to identify issues (e.g. Compliance) and opportunities for growth
  • Assist in the coordination and completion of all RFI, RFP and RFQ requests tied to their assigned accounts
  • Conduct and coordinate capabilities, contract implementation and other supplyFORCE presentations to customer and distributor organizations
  • Collaborate and work in conjunction with Company's pricing group to establish, maintain and renew manufacturer negotiations to support contracts and demonstrate value to our customers and Owner-Member distributors
  • Develop a functional project plan for contract implementation that addresses the customers' needs as described in the Supply Agreement, working closely with the Business Development Manager, Director, Client Management, Sales Support Team, Participating Distributor, and Customer
  • Collaborate with Finance team to ensure each client is paying within terms, responsible for escalation and remedy with any past due clients
  • Oversight of successful implementation to Order Loop, works closely with E-Implementation team to ensure all timelines are adhered and all necessary documents are available relating to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ongoing responsibility for Open Order status by utilizing assigned transactional team for support and execution to ensure positive client experience and regular updates
  • Efficiently utilize the Sales Support Team to meet supplyFORCE KPI's such as achieving annual sales budget, maximizing sales, cost savings, gap reporting issues and administrative support to maximize face-to-face selling time with customers and Owner Members.
  • Responsible for regularly updating the Account Management Plans in the CRM for respective account package
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses within budgetary allowance
  • Handle any other corporate duties and/or projects, as assigned, for the benefit of the organization

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum four years' experience in the Distribution industry with national account contract implementation experience and/or sales account management experience with proven track record in managing a complex package of large corporate National Account/ Integrated Supply agreements on a local, regional, and national basis with direct responsibility of managing performance to annual sales budget
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-directed approach, high energy, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to respond effectively to change
  • Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to travel up to 40% by plane, vehicle, or other transportation methods, within the US and Canada
  • Remain in a seated position for extended periods
  • Repetitive motion such as typing or using a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times


Salary Range: 90,000 - $130,000
