Sr. Account Executive - Specialty Pharmacy - Oncology
Join our team as a Sr. Account Executive supporting Accredo's oncology partnerships, where you'll drive patient centered impact while expanding access to specialty pharmacy care. In this role, you'll build trusted relationships with oncology practices, deliver meaningful education, and achieve strategic sales goals that strengthen the patient experience.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales objectives across New England through strategic territory planning.
  • Interpret prescribing and market data to guide territory strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Engage oncology offices with high quality educational interactions that promote exceptional patient care.
  • Meet productivity expectations for customer engagement, reach, and frequency.
  • Manage account planning, sales strategy development, and call documentation in Salesforce.
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Attend internal and industry events to strengthen relationships and represent Accredo.
  • Travel overnight as needed (approximately 5-10 nights per month).


Required Qualifications
  • Residence in the New England market is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling service-based solutions and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of managed care, payer environments, specialty pharmacy, and reimbursement processes.
  • Experience developing and executing territory business plans and achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role and travel throughout the assigned territory.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Experience selling specialty pharmacy or biologic therapies.
  • Established relationships within the New England healthcare market.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
