Sr. Account Executive, Advanced Pulmonary Conditions - Accredo

Join Accredo as a Senior Account Executive supporting Advanced Pulmonary Conditions, where you will drive specialty pharmacy growth, strengthen provider relationships, and improve access to life-changing therapies. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to healthcare providers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders while expanding referrals, supporting patient access, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes across a complex specialty market.

Strong preference for candidates residing in Nebraska or Colorado.

Candidates residing in Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming will also be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Lead territory strategy and execution to achieve and exceed referral, patient admit, and growth objectives across assigned markets.
  • Serve as the primary sales representative for physicians, hospital clinics, infusion centers, and other referral sources.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, and key stakeholders within the pulmonary specialty community.
  • Collaborate with clinical, reimbursement, operational, and manufacturer partners to improve patient access and strengthen Accredo's value proposition.
  • Support implementation of payer agreements and collaborate with National Account Managers to maximize market opportunities and local pull-through activity.
  • Develop territory business plans, forecasts, and referral strategies using market intelligence and account insights.
  • Monitor referral activity, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Represent Accredo at conferences, educational programs, advocacy events, and industry meetings.
  • Partner compliantly with pharmaceutical manufacturers to support provider education and referral process excellence.
  • Participate in strategic launch planning, case conferences, and sales meetings that support organizational goals.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling service-based solutions and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of managed care, payer environments, specialty pharmacy, and reimbursement processes.
  • Experience developing and executing territory business plans and achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role and travel throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pulmonary disease states, including PAH, IPF, ILD, or Alpha-1 therapies.
  • Experience working with specialty pharmacy services, infusion therapies, or complex care models.
  • Clinical background or advanced knowledge of pulmonary disease management.
  • Established relationships within the KS/NE/CO/NM/UT/WY market.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
