Mercedes-Benz of White Plainsis looking for a certified diesel technician to join our service team.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:- Diesel Knowledge/prior dealership experience preferred
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- High School Diploma or GED Technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-year experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer Skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
DUTIES:- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accordance with manufacturer/dealership standards.
- Inspect vehicles and record findings.
- Explain vehicle diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors.
- Keep current with new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer training.
