Job Description

he Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Academic Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Jacksonville, Florida.

You will join a collaborative team of eight pediatric orthopedic surgeons and two pediatric non-operative physicians, as well as twelve advanced practice providers. The program also includes two Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists, supported by three dedicated advanced practice providers within their service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care in pediatric orthopedics with a focus in sports medicine
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary partners across orthopedics, rehabilitation, therapy, plastics, and sports medicine
  • Contribute to education, quality improvement, clinical innovation, and outcomes-based care
  • Participate in educational initiatives to training pediatric orthopedic fellow, residents, and medical students and strengthen academic affiliations with the University of Florida and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.
  • Pursue opportunities in clinical research, program development, and academic advancement
