Job Description:- Location: Sports Medicine and Rehab 960 Rinehart Rd, Lake Mary, FL
- Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm
- Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
- Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
- Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.
- Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
- Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or directors
- Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
- Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
- Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:Field of Study:Work Experience:- Experience Treating Sports and Ortho Patients [Preferred]

Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
Licenses and Certifications:- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
