Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Piedmont Post Acute - Piedmont, SC

$45-$55/hour | Full-Time | CFY Welcome

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in care plan meetings, rehab conferences, and discharge planning
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and techniques
  • Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as applicable
  • Conduct staff in-services and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)

  • Experience in long-term care or rehab preferred
