Overview

Powerback is seeking an energetic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join Powerback Swallow Solutions’ team of FEES Endoscopists. This SLP’s primary job duty will be providing Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to the adult population in the post-acute care setting. 

 

This position will focus primarily on completing FEES in a set geography, so the ability to travel is required.  The clinician will primarily be completing FEES; however, the SLP will also provide patient care in the post-acute setting with other diagnoses, as needed.

Compliance: Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited to those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA.Participates in required orientation and training programs.Promptly reports concerns and suspected incidences of non-compliance to supervisor, Compliance Liaison or to the Compliance Officer via the Integrity Hotline.Cooperates with monitoring and audit functions and investigations.Participates, as requested, in quality assurance and process improvement activities.

Qualifications

Strong passion for instrumental swallow assessment, specifically FEESInterest in community marketing of FEES and the willingness to grow the program within the geography Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues Willingness to assist with other evaluation and treatment of the adult population in the post-acute settingPossibility to assist in the growth and support of developing future Endoscopists through CEU participation and competency/support on-site visits and training. The SLP may also provide patient care in the post-acute setting with other diagnosesMust possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or a similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.The Speech Language Pathologist must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
