Position Overview

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students across three schools in New Mexico during the . This role offers the opportunity to work with students in grades 4-12, providing comprehensive speech-language services while collaborating with educators, families, and school teams to support student success.
Key Responsibilities

As the Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services
  • Complete speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Track student progress and maintain required documentation
  • Provide consultation to teachers, school staff, and families
  • Participate in case management and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Work collaboratively with school personnel to ensure students receive appropriate support and services
Position Details
  • Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours per week
  • Contract: August 2026 - May 2027
  • Location: On-site in New Mexico
  • School Assignment: Three schools
  • Student Population: Grades 4-12
  • Direct therapy, evaluations, consultation, and case management responsibilities
  • Guaranteed paid hours, including documentation, planning, and administrative time
  • Manageable caseloads
  • Ongoing support from both the school district and TheraPeds Partners
  • Compensation: $60-$80+ per hour ($1,920-$2,560+ per week)

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications


Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
