Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full- or part-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Collaborate regularly with the supervising SLP to support student treatment plans, therapy implementation, and service delivery.
  • Participate in treatment planning and preparation to help ensure effective, individualized therapy sessions.
  • Consult with educators and school staff to reinforce communication goals across classroom settings.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and assist with administrative responsibilities in accordance with district and state guidelines.

Compensation
  • Competitive hourly pay of $40-$45+ per hour, based on experience
  • Approximately $1,500-$1,687+ per week, depending on schedule and placement

Physical Requirements
