Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in
Oklahoma City, OK. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details- Full-time or part-time school-based opportunity (20-37hrs)

- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students from PreK through 12th grade
Primary Responsibilities- Provide direct speech-language intervention under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist with therapy preparation, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized communication goals.
- Work closely with the supervising SLP, teachers, and school staff to coordinate student services and support.
- Participate in consultations and collaborative planning to promote student success across educational settings.
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements.

Compensation- Competitive pay ranging from $40-$45+ per hour, based on experience
- Estimated weekly earnings of $1,500-$1,687+, depending on assignment and schedule
RequirementsQualifications- Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA, where required
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology

- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
