Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

  • Full-time or part-time school-based opportunity (20-37hrs)
  • In-person position at a district school
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students from PreK through 12th grade

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide direct speech-language intervention under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist with therapy preparation, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized communication goals.
  • Work closely with the supervising SLP, teachers, and school staff to coordinate student services and support.
  • Participate in consultations and collaborative planning to promote student success across educational settings.
  • Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements.

Physical Requirements
