Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Copperas Cove, TX

Full-Time | $45–$48/hour | W-2

HealthPro Pediatrics is looking for an SLPA to join our team supporting students in Copperas Cove, TX!

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality speech services based on individual therapy plans.
  • Assures continuation of therapeutic plan up to and following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/ follow up programs.
  • Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
  • Maintains patient records confidentially.
  • Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
  • Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations.
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic services.
  • Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with an Bachelor27s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Current State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience: One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
