Full Job Description
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Waldorf, MD, to help elementary students develop communication skills that support learning, relationships, and confidence throughout the school year.

Position Overview
  • Implement individualized speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication and academic needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and activities targeting speech, language, articulation, fluency, and functional communication skills.
  • Collect and document student performance data, monitor progress toward therapy goals, and communicate updates with the supervising SLP.
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to reinforce speech-language strategies across classroom and school environments.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License/Credential
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school or pediatric setting preferred
