Full Job Description
Looking for a rewarding school-based SLP position? TheraPeds Partners is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative educational team in Cordele, Georgia for the . This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with students from PreK through 12th grade, providing speech-language services that help students build the communication skills they need for success both in and out of the classroom.
Position Overview

In this role, you'll provide comprehensive speech-language services while partnering with educators, families, and related service providers to create meaningful outcomes for students. You'll balance direct therapy with evaluations, consultation, and case management responsibilities as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services that address students' communication goals.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify areas of need and determine appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while ensuring services align with student needs and district requirements.
  • Manage an assigned caseload, including documentation, progress reporting, and compliance with special education procedures.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student achievement across educational settings.
  • Consult with school teams to recommend classroom strategies and communication supports that encourage student success.
  • Monitor student growth and adjust treatment approaches based on ongoing assessment and performance data.
Schedule & Benefits
  • Full-time position
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 2026-2027 school year (August 2026 through May 2027)
  • On-site assignment in Cordele, Georgia
  • Serving students from PreK through 12th grade

Compensation
  • $55-$75+ per hour, based on experience
  • Estimated weekly earnings of $2,062-$2,812+

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications


Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
