Job Description

Therapy Source is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person services for public school students. This position is a maternity leave coverage for the upcoming school year with the possibility of extension.

Speech-Language Pathologist Salary: $68-$75 per hour

Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details:

  • Leave Coverage (Dates: September 1st through November 25th)
  • Hours: 8:15am - 2:45pm
  • Full-Time or Part-Time (part-time candidates must have between 2-4 days of availability)
  • Mainly working with Pre-K caseload


Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:

  • School Certification in New Jersey
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)


Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:

  • Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs that impact educational goals
  • Providing push-in support in classrooms
  • Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students who require speech/language therapy.
  • Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
  • Developing and implementing IEPs
  • Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
