Caseload Overview
We are currently recruiting for two full time Speech-Language Pathologists to support an paediatric community caseload funded through Children's Treatment Network. Services are delivered in publicly funded schools.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Accept referrals that align with your availability, geography, and clinical interests
- Build a caseload at a pace that works for you
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver CTN-authorized School-Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) in publicly funded schools
- Complete functional speech and language assessments related to school participation
- Provide time-limited, consultative interventions using SBRS best practices
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other SBRS providers (OT, PT)
- Develop and share practical strategies to support communication in the classroom
- Complete required documentation and reporting in accordance with CTN, MCCSS, and CASLPO standards
- Support transitions and discharge planning once SBRS goals are achieved
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration in good standing with CASLPO
- Experience working with paediatric populations preferred (but not required)
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Professional liability insurance
- Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last year)
