What You'll Do As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help children develop the communication skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and throughout life.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Assess speech, language, articulation, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's goals
- Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy services
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate and coach parents and caregivers to support carryover at home
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other members of the care team
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, evaluations, progress notes, and treatment records
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe, child-centered therapy environment
- Perform additional duties that support quality patient care
What You'll Bring - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes
Physical Requirements This position requires medium physical work, including the ability to:
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequently lift or move up to 30 pounds
- Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds
