Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Lakeport Post Acute | Full-Time & Part-Time

$65-$70/hour

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy teams, residents, and families
  • Conduct dysphagia assessments and implement appropriate interventions
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff regarding treatment strategies and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning activities

Qualifications
Required:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing, Post-Acute, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care settings
  • Knowledge of dysphagia management and modified diets
  • Experience with cognitive, neurological, and medically complex patient populations
