Speech-Language Pathologist ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may vary by placement but can include:
- Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to PK-12 students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
- Support students with:
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Receptive and expressive language needs
- Social/pragmatic communication
- Fluency disorders
- Voice disorders
- AAC and assistive communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students' communication skills across educational environments
Qualifications- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
- Active Massachusetts SLP License or eligibility
- DESE Educator License (Speech, Language & Hearing Disorders) or eligibility
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
