Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in the Highlands Ranch, CO area

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details
  • Full Time, 37.5 hours/week
  • Following the school calendar start and end dates: August/September - May, 2027
  • Grades: Elementary - Middle/High school.
  • Coverage: 1-3 schools
  • Job Duties: direct therapy, consultation, planning, collaboration with SLP supervisor
  • Guaranteed Hours, including documentation, administrative and planning time
  • On-site, in person
  • Manageable caseloads
  • Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
  • $40-$50+/hour
  • Depending upon job placement and caseload, this positions could be working within 1-2 buildings, sometimes more. These details will be further discussed at the interview.

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
