Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, short-term coverage position in
Yelm, Washington. This assignment will primarily support developmental preschool students across two school locations and includes time dedicated to preschool child-development diagnostic services. Both locations are shared with another SLP, providing opportunities for collaboration and support.

Responsibilities:- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic assessments
- Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy
- Complete preschool child-development diagnostics, primarily related to articulation
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Create measurable goals based on students' individual communication needs
- Provide developmentally appropriate services to preschool-aged students
- Support students with articulation, speech, language, social communication, fluency, voice, and augmentative communication needs
- Track student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
- Prepare evaluation reports, progress reports, and other required records
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team planning
- Collaborate with the other assigned SLP, teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Provide communication strategies and consultation to classroom staff and families
- Ensure services comply with state, federal, and district requirements
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete
- Must provide at least two supervisory references
- Experience with preschool students, articulation evaluations, or school-based services preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, organization, and collaboration skills
