Pay Range:$44-$54/hour
Job Description:26-27 School Year | $44-$54/hour | Part & Full-Time | Bloomington, IN | School-Based | State SLP and Indiana Educators License requiredAbout the Role: Speech therapy in a school is where you see the whole picture, the same students, the same team, all year long. As an SLP with Point Quest, you'll evaluate, plan, and deliver services that help K-12 students communicate and thrive, partnering closely with teachers and families to make progress stick. You'll do it with the backing of in-house clinical support and a school-year schedule, and if you're a clinical fellow, we'll help you launch your career strong.
What You'll Do:- Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
- Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
- Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
- Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
- Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
- Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)
What We're Looking For:Must Have:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
- Indiana Department of Education SLP license
- Criminal and DCS background checks
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
- One year of experience in speech therapy
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
- Experience with school-based caseload management
Speech Language Pathologists Physical Demands:- Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
- Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
