Full Job Description
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - ADULT DAY SERVICESFull Time, Salaried $77,000- $93,000/year

What You'll Do:
  • Evaluate, assess, and screen clients using appropriate standardized testing and clinical observational skills
  • Provide speech/language therapy according to OPWDD guidelines
  • Provide required documentation for services that the program and/or supervisor have outlined
  • Maintain documentation in a professional, efficient, accountable, and confidential manner.
  • Attend all meetings as scheduled and collaborate with other professionals, staff, and families.
  • Maintain and update professional knowledge, skills, and abilities through appropriate continuing education, in service training or higher education.
  • Inservice staff on communication programs.
  • Oversee implementation of communication programs in both day and residential settings.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

What You Need for the Role:
  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • NYSED licensure in Speech/Language Pathology
  • ASHA certified preferred
  • TSHH certification preferred
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
