We are looking for: Specialty Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Never a dull moment in Specialty Veterinary Medicine! Our patients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are being executed. This department is perfect for someone who can identify patient distress and react accordingly, enjoys phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, assisting with recovery and client follow up and education.

What you'll do:

  • Escalates issues to Clinical Manager


  • Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)


  • Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs


  • Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift


  • Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:


  • Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members


  • Assigns team member responsibilities per shift


  • Addresses process or employee issues during their shift


  • Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely


  • Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations


  • Trains and mentors new team members


  • Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations


  • Participates in on-call responsibilities


  • Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely


Who you are:
