Specialty Staff Pharmacist

Hours and Location:
  • This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8:30 amto 5 pm
  • We are located at 4310 Alton Road #1451, Miami Beach, FL 33140


How You'll Make an Impact:

As a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you'll contribute to a community's well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
  • Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
  • Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
  • Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team's development
  • Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more

What You'll Bring

Basic Qualifications:
  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Successful completion of Florida state pharmacy board examination
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Florida


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • CSP Certification (Certified Specialty Pharmacist) or willingness to obtain
  • Specialty pharmacy experience
  • Experience managing specialty clinical programs
  • Experience working in patient-centered care environments
  • Experience collaborating closely with providers
  • Experience with patient platform management and specialty medication workflows

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
