At the heart of Neovance's non-commercial specialty pharmacy is a team that processes prescriptions, coordinates patient shipments, and makes sure the right therapy gets to the right patient - on time and without barriers. As Manager, Pharmacy Operations you'll lead that team.

This role sits at the intersection of pharmacy operations and patient coordination - equal parts process leader and people developer. You'll own the accuracy and efficiency of prescription processing, drive the patient outreach that keeps programs running smoothly, and build a team of pharmacy techs, front-end staff, and call coordinators who are proud of the work they do.

If you're a hands-on manager who thrives in a metrics-driven environment, knows how to develop people, and understands that every prescription processed represents a real patient waiting on therapy - we'd love to talk.

What You'll Do:

Prescription Processing & Quality
  • Oversee all prescription processing functions - including data entry, third-party processing, electronic prescription processing, and prescriber clarification calls.
  • Ensure programs are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor processing workflows and implement improvements to reduce errors and increase throughput.

Patient & Operational Coordination
  • Manage patient outreach for shipment coordination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of therapies.
  • Meet and exceed quality assurance, and productivity metrics through continuous process improvement.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement solutions that improve the patient experience and program performance.

People Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacy technicians and front-end staff
  • Oversee performance management, training program development, and team accountability.
  • Build a culture of high performance, ownership, and patient-first thinking across the team.
  • Develop staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all operational hours.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Licensure
  • PharmD or BS Pharm required; active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida in good standing

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, or a related healthcare operations environment.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role leading pharmacy techs, call center staff, or similar teams.
  • Hands-on experience with prescription processing, third-party billing, and electronic prescription workflows.
  • Experience managing call center or patient outreach functions with accountability to quality and productivity metrics.

Skills & Attributes
  • Strong people leadership skills - you know how to develop, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality control.
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and call center or CRM platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills - able to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to travel to our Lake Mary, FL pharmacy location as needed.
