Specialty PharmacistFull Time

We are looking for a Specialty Pharmacist to play an important role at AndHealth.
This is a full-time position located at a Community Health Center in Ohio.
What you'll do in the role:
- Deliver direct care, therapeutic recommendations, and counseling for patients with chronic conditions via the Patient Management Program, protocols, or collaborative practice agreements.
- Review patient profiles for interactions, allergies, or duplications, and recommend evidence-based medication or dosage adjustments.
- Partner with Patient Engagement Specialists to secure patient access by managing payor formularies, prior authorizations, and appeals.
- Maintain strict documentation for URAC and ACHC accreditation and actively participate in Quality Management programs and improvement projects.
- Accurately process, fill, verify, and safely dispense prescriptions while balancing workflows.
- Maintain flexibility to provide on-site support or cross-site remote assistance, ensuring operational continuity as business needs evolve.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
- PharmD, BS in Pharmacy, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Ohio.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses in multiple states.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct patient care experience in pharmacy is preferred.
- BLS/CPR is required (or must be willing to obtain within 1 month after starting).
- Immunization delivery certification is preferred.
- 2+ years of specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- PGY1 residence or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple things simultaneously.
- Comfortable with technology and the ability to adapt to new systems.
- The position may require some travel. Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.

Additional Requirements:
- Tuberculosis (TB) Screening: Documentation of a negative screening conducted within the last 12 months.
- Hepatitis B: Proof of a completed vaccine series or a positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
- Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR): Proof of a completed vaccine series or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
- Varicella (Chickenpox): Proof of vaccination, documented medical history of the disease, or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis): Documentation of a booster administered within the last 10 years.
- Influenza: Proof of vaccination for the current flu season.
- COVID-19: Documentation of primary vaccine series and any boosters administered.
- General: Additional health requirements may be requested as necessary.
