Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote. Must have the ability to travel to our location in East Petersburg, PA on a quarterly basis.

 

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the operations and staff responsible for specialty loan servicing, providing life-of-loan processing for in-house and serviced commercial, and small business loans. Analyze existing and emerging issues including volume, regulations, business conditions, and economic factors to determine required resources. Develop, implement and evaluate operating processes that ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance. Oversee the work activities, readiness, development and work product of staff engaged in the boarding, ongoing servicing, reporting, and monitoring of Participation, Syndication, SWAP,SBA, Floor Plan, Leasing, and ABL facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the specialty loan servicing department, ensuring that all loans are boarded and serviced accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure all tasks are prioritized and completed effectively.
  • Identify and address any knowledge gaps, workflow issues, or bottlenecks to improve overall team productivity and service delivery.
  • Assign and delegate tasks as needed, ensuring that all inquiries are resolved within set service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of specialty loan servicing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Plan, assign and evaluate the work of staff, provide guidance and coaching for employee management and development, implement necessary employee actions, partner with Human Resources to resolve employment related matters. Set performance goals for the loan servicing team and monitor progress towards achieving these goals. Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance evaluations to staff.
  • Coordinate with loan support area to conduct training sessions to ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about various aspects of specialty loan servicing, fostering a versatile and skilled workforce. Promote cross-training within the team to ensure coverage across different functions, enabling flexibility in handling workloads and maintaining smooth operations.
  • Respond to departmental and external requests, providing clear and accurate information related to specialty loan servicing activities. Serve as primary point of contact for participant and agent banks, assisting Participation, Syndication, and SWAP specialists with necessary communication and functions.
  • Develop and implement operating plans, processes, procedures, systems, and controls to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Perform and oversee accuracy of all transactions or activities impacting shadow balance adjustments or other accounting functions for for Special Assets or Recon Group, including non-accruals, charge-offs, and other adjustments as needed for Specialty Loan Products
  • Ensure compliance to all current and emerging loan regulations; prepare and present required business performance analyses and reporting to management and regulatory agencies; lead business unit audits, risk assessments and examinations, develop subsequent responses and action plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance; lead application testing, upgrades and releases within the business unit; support corporate systems initiatives; assign related tasks and complete associated documentation.
  • Lead, promote and support broader corporate and department initiatives, including change management, organizational planning and mergers and acquisitions.

 

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. (Required)

Required Experience
  • 7 or more years leadership experience managing teams and multiple processes.
  • 5 or more years loan servicing, loan operations, or loan processing, with a focus on specialized commercial loan structures including but not limited to participations, syndications, SWAPs, SBA, Floor Plan, Leasing, and Asset Based Lending.
Preferred Experience
  • 5 or more years proven track record of successfully managing and implementing specialty loan servicing processes.
  • 5 or more years hands-on experience with loan management systems, preferably with system implementations or migrations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and strong leadership to ensure smooth specialty loan servicing operations and excellent customer service.

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidates knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $151,600.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

 

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
