Full Job Description
nLogic is seeking a Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area. This role will play a key part as an individual contributor in supporting mission-defense efforts. The Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for developing automation related software development products at the system level to support automation and test verifications activities.

Responsibilities
  • Developing automation related software development products in support of test and verification tasks and requirements


Required Qualifications
  • Must possess a current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience, a Masters Degree and 3+ years of related experience, or 1+ year of related experience with a PhD
  • Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) assessments.
  • Experience with software architecture and design
  • Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements.
  • Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS
  • Applicants must possess good communication skills.
  • Applicants must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs


Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability discipline
  • Experience with risk analysis and risk management
  • Experience within a missile-defense or missile systems program
