Your Role

As an Enterprise Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving pipeline growth, managing sales opportunities, and contributing to bookings, renewals, and expansion opportunities across assigned accounts or industry verticals. Through consultative selling and disciplined sales execution, you'll help customers align their workforce and talent strategies with Pearson's portfolio of enterprise solutions.

Key Accountabilities

Your journey will include:
  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline through prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, referrals, account research, networking, and targeted campaigns.
  • Managing opportunities through the sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, opportunity planning, proposal support, and negotiation.
  • Contributing to annual bookings, renewal, and expansion targets by identifying and progressing new business opportunities.
  • Conducting consultative customer discovery to understand business priorities, workforce challenges, skills gaps, and transformation initiatives.
  • Positioning Pearson's enterprise portfolio, including learning, skilling, assessment, credentialing, certification, and AI-enabled workforce solutions.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders across HR, Learning & Development, Talent, IT, Procurement, and business leadership functions.
  • Partnering with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Solutioning, Customer Success, RevOps, Finance, Legal, and Delivery teams to support customer success.
  • Maintaining accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM documentation.
  • Developing industry knowledge and staying informed on trends related to workforce transformation, AI adoption, digital skilling, compliance, and enterprise learning.

Location

This is a remote position supporting customers and prospects across assigned Americas accounts or industry verticals. Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, industry events, internal collaboration, and sales meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve:
  • Executing outbound prospecting activities to identify and engage new customer opportunities.
  • Managing inbound and outbound sales activity across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Conducting discovery conversations that uncover customer goals, challenges, and business priorities.
  • Collaborating with senior sales professionals and solution experts to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Supporting proposal development, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
  • Identifying renewal, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities within existing customer relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline, activity, forecast, and customer data within CRM systems.
  • Participating in account planning sessions, deal reviews, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Building expertise in Pearson's enterprise products and services.
  • Sharing market insights, customer feedback, and best practices with internal stakeholders.

The full-time salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000.
